Proudly Pinay. Born and raised in Makati (Manila), Philippines, resided in practically every corner of Los Angeles but now currently based in Irvine, CA.

Product of 12 years at all-girl Catholic school and 3 years of Jesuit college education. Finally graduated with degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing, and Journalism (with a minor in Cultural Anthropology).

Worked as a newspaper editor, retail manager, materials planner, and travel/relocation manager. Sometimes concurrently. Believes next career move will involve all of the above and maybe some new expertise.

Obsessed with makeup, fragrance, fashion, and a bra collection numbering 350+ (and counting). Spends too much time in bookstores and garden nurseries. Interests: art, design, and architecture; beauty and fashion; music; gardening and landscape design. Not interested in watching sports, the stock market, cars, or anything with a motor.

Laughs easily and loudly; Is patient and tolerant, but hates anything mean-spirited and malicious. Leans left-of-center and is a lapsed Catholic, but avoids discussions regarding politics and religion. Personal heroes are Jimmy Carter and the Dalai Lama.

Fiercely protective mommy to Boo, a barking cat who thinks she's a dog. Allergic to almost everything, especially her cat.
